Culture calls Art al Vent XXIII

The Department of Culture of the City Council of Gata announces the 23rd edition of the international exhibition of textile art Art al Vent and opens registrations for all those who want to participate.

After the change in the past editions, the Department of Culture has decided to maintain the dates in the month of July and thus seek a deseasonalization of the visits that our people receive and escape from the months where the heat is more intense. Therefore, the exhibition will take place during the month of July and is expected to be opened on Friday, July 3.

In addition, one of the novelties of the 2026 edition will be the change of location, since for the conditioning works of La Bassa street it will not be possible to carry out in the traditional circuit. The coordination team is already working to find the most suitable place so that from the balconies can show the works that last edition were 87 canvases exhibited from 20 different countries.

The registration period is now open, until January 31, for all those who want to participate in the exhibition. And with the advancement of the exhibition some deadlines have been advanced such as the presentation of the works that will have to be done in the month of May.
